B i o g r a p h y
The Trinity Trio was formed in 2013 at the University of Auckland School of Music.
Tina is currently completing her Masters in piano performance with Rae de Lisle, Stella is an Honours student in violin studying with Elizabeth Holowell and Sally is in her second year studying cello performance with Edith Salzmann.
As a group, they won the prestigious Pettman/ROSL Scholarship, which was hosted in New Zealand and gave them the opportunity to give more than 12 concerts around the UK – including at the Edinburgh Festival, the Lake District Summer Music Festival and at St James's Piccadilly.
While in London as part of their stay in the UK, the trio had the privilege of receiving coaching from the Fine Arts Quartet – Robert Cohen, Efim Boico, Jon Thorne, Caroline Almonte, David Takeno, Michael Dusseck, Julian Jacobson, Renna Kellaway, Tamsin Waley-Cohen and Phillip Moore.
Following their UK tour, the trio gave another five concerts in Thailand, at venues ranging from Bangkok and Pattaya to Hua Hin and Khon Kaen.
Most recently, the trio competed in and was a finalist in the University of Auckland's Chamber Music Competition.
